"Molly's Militia" originated when its founder, Elaine van der Linden, visited a local animal shelter and brought home a beautiful, yet flea-infested, Cocker Spaniel that she named Molly. Heartbroken by the conditions she saw in that shelter, Elaine created Molly's Militia out of her own home, fostering all the original pets herself, until the Militia became a full-fledged army. Molly's Militia continues to this day honoring the work of our Founder.
