Middleburg Humane Foundation operates a non-profit, 23-acre farm shelter located on the west side of Marshall, Virginia. We provide a haven for at risk animals, large and small. In 2021, 783 cats, dogs, equines, livestock, pocket pets and reptiles came to our shelter. We do not receive government funding and depend on donations from individuals, businesses and foundations, and funds raised at various events throughout the year. MHF also operates a Grooming Salon at our shelter and a Resale Boutique Shop in Marshall to generate revenue.
We have cats, dogs, equines, livestock and pocket pets who would love to join your family. We work with each family to ensure our animals are matched with a compatible home. To begin the adoption process, go to the "Adopt" menu and fill out the questionnaire for the type of animal that you would like to adopt. Once you submit the questionnaire it will go directly to our Placement Coordinator. Our Placement Coordinator will review the questionnaire and contact you for an appointment. Please allow at least two days for processing.
