MMCR was formed in November of 2003 and since then has found quality homes for thousands of animals in Michigan. MMCR primarily assists cats and kittens, but either directly or through partnerships with other Michigan shelters MMCR has sometimes assisted other animals. Mid-Michigan Cat Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, non-state and non-federally funded 501.C(3) volunteer based organization that depends solely on donations from the general public and fundraisers in the Mid-Michigan area.
