Mission: To reduce the unnecessary killing of our community's animals through proven life-saving programs, advocacy and education with the ultimate goal of achieving a No-Kill community. MARC was founded in 2012 with a specific focus on rescuing in-need pets from our City's shelter. At this time, MARC focuses solely on rescuing shelter animals who are at high risk of euthanasia at the Waco Shelter. As of early 2015, MARC has saved over 550 'death-row' pets thanks to foster parents, donors and adopters. All of our rescued animals were saved from 'death-row' and by adopting one of our awesome pets, you help us save another life in need!

Our mission is simple: to save dogs in need of homes. We rescue all breeds and ages, but our focus remains on the senior dogs. No dog should die in a shelter, and the oldsters that need a soft place to retire will find that here.
