Maverick Pet Transportation & Rescue, is the brainchild of Rick Roper. Rick is an over the road truck driver with 20 years’ experience under his belt. He has also spent many years in community service by being a volunteer firefighter and paramedic. Rick set out to combine his love of animals and his career, to form this nonprofit animal transportation and rescue. Rick, along with having the responsibility to deliver retail freight, also handles the logistics of the transports and transports rescued animals to other rescues or to their new forever homes while making his deliveries. We have put together a plan, and organization, that we feel will save more animals lives, not just locally, but nationwide.
