Lowndes County Animal Services is committed to community safety and the prevention of cruelty to animals. Our goal is to protect the public from stray and dangerous animals. We have dedicated ourselves to providing prompt, professional services to the citizens and animals of our community.
Our shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from Noon to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from Noon to 3 p.m. Adoptions take approximately 30 minutes to process. Dogs / puppies are $125 and cats / kittens are $105 each. This fee helps to off set the costs we incur.
