Long Beach Felines is an all-volunteer organization formalized in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our founding members have over 20 years of combined cat rescue experience and have collectively placed hundreds of cats into loving homes. We have no paid staff and receive no government funding. We rely on fundraising efforts and private donations to support our cause and provide food, supplies and medical care for our cats. We are a no-kill organization that only euthanizes cats when it is medically deemed the only humane option. Long Beach Felines does not operate a shelter facility. All of our cats live in foster homes where they are given a safe haven and are provided with love and nurturing until they are ready for adoption. At that point, our kitties move into the Feline Good Social Club cat lounge to enjoy live in a spacious comfortable happy place until a forever home is available.
If you're ready to adopt, you can start the process by filling out our online Adoption Questionnaire. This helps ensure that the cat you've chosen will fit in well with your household and family. Every cat/kitten adopted through Long Beach Felines is vaccinated, spayed/neutered, dewormed, de-flea'd, tested for Feline Leukemia & FIV and microchipped. We also provide one month of free pet insurance to assist in the transition of your new pet from rescue to residence.

I was also given a box of 6, 4-day old kittens whose mother hadn't come back for them. Needless to say, I'd been deeply launched into my first experience with foster mommyhood. I just want what's best for these gu
