We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in Pasadena, CA. All our animals are safe in foster homes while they await their forever homes. We may be a small rescue, but we completely dedicate ourselves to making sure our animals are going to the best possible homes! Many rescues are only concerned with numbers, and base their success on how many animals they adopt out. Many have dogs surrendered to them and immediately adopt them out on the same day without home checks or quarantine periods (which are necessary to make sure the dogs are fully healthy before adopting them out). We absolutely do not believe in this method, as our dog's health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. We have not succeeded until we have made sure we have done everything in our power to ensure that our animals are adopted out healthy and into loving, responsible, and safe homes. Therefore, all of our dogs are kept with us at minimum 2 weeks before being adopted out so that we can allow them to decompress from the stressful shelter life and blossom into their true personalities! Our fosters know all about their dogs: whether they are couch potatoes or perfect jogging partners, their quirks, their habits, if they love playing fetch or if they are lazy cuddle bugs. All our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and de-flea'd before being adopted out too! When you adopt from us, you are helping save a life. Dog's know when they've been rescued, and they are the ones who love the fiercest. They are the ones who show you everyday how thankful they are that YOU chose them. We do not do same day adoptions, please do not apply if you are in a rush to adopt! To meet any of our animals you need to fill out an application FIRST. Once your application has been approved, we will email you to schedule the meet and greet at the foster's home. We require all members of the household to be present for the meet and greet. Once you have met the animal you are applying for and would like to proceed with the adoption, please email us to schedule the home check.
