Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter is an open admission animal shelter located in Prince Frederick, Maryland. It is managed by the Animal Shelter Division under the Department of Public Safety and the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners.
Potential pet adopters must complete a pre-screening application before meeting any of the animals outside of their kennel or cage. The pre-screening will give the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter a better understanding of the potential adopter’s expectations for a pet, lifestyle, and the environment in which a new animal would be placed. Once the pre-screening application has been completed, the potential adopter will be matched with a member of our staff to review the application and help you find your potential match.
