Lauren's Zoo Special Interest Adoptions is a small not-for-profit animal rescue organization that specializes in "special needs" and "death row" dogs. We do not have a central location or shelter facility. All of our adoptable pets are kept in individual foster homes until adoptive homes can be approved. We have a wonderful success rate with "special needs" animals (deaf, blind, amputee, etc). In the last 15 years, we have placed hundreds of animals all over the nation.
The first step in our adoption process is the completion of our adoption application. An auto-response containing our application can be received by e-mailing LaurensZoo.application@yahoo.com. Once approved, adoptions can generally be finalized within a week. Out-of-state adoptions aren't out-of-the-question to find a suitable home for our "special" babies.
