We fully vet and rehabilitate these dogs and place them in foster homes across the state(s). LHDR adopts to applicants located in Texas and Michigan. Dogs located in Michigan are available for adoption in Michigan only, dogs in Texas are available to Texas residents only.
Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, reference checks, a phone interview, and a home visit, followed by a meet/greet with the dog of interest.
