Founded in 2013, Lancaster South Carolina Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LSPCA) is a nonprofit rescue organization funded entirely through donations from individuals and corporate sponsors. In addition to rescuing the most critical-need animals in our community, LSPCA is committed to providing educational programs in Lancaster schools promoting ethical treatment of animals. Lancaster SPCA is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, transport, and adoption of homeless pets. As an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue organization, LSPCA has no paid staff or shelter facilities.

Adoption Process

If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please complete an Adoption Application online. Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time.
