Adoption Process

1. Application. You will first be required to complete our Adoption Questionnaire. Once received, We will contact you via phone or e-mail. If it seems you are a good fit for each other based on the info you provided, a phone interview will follow. 2. Meeting animal(s) and Home visit. We will bring your new family member to your home and will verify your home is a safe place for an animal. 3. Trial Period and Adoption Fee. 1 week trial, make sure everybody is happy and comfortable. End of the trial, adoption Fee will be refunded to you if you decide not to adopt the animal(s). 4. Agreement. If for any reason the match is not as perfect as we all had hoped, the dog or cat must be returned to Kumo’s Proud Trails, not given away or turned in to a shelter. Serious fines apply to violators of the Kumo’s Proud Tails Agreement to Adopt. So be clear about what you are signing and be prepared to abide by the contract. It is legally binding and we take it very seriously.
