Kreacher Konnections is a foster based no-kill rescue that is dedicated to educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering. We offer free humane education classes to groups throughout the community to make connections between people and pets, educate the citizens about the homeless and feral pet population in the area and encourage spaying and neutering of all animals.
An adoption application is required by all potential adopters and will be reviewed by Kreacher Konnection’s Board for approval. All applications will be reviewed by board members to determine compatibility of owners and animals. We do our best to match energy level, family members, animal’s needs vs. owner’s expectations, and behavior specific to each animal. We are looking to see a good track record of caring for previously owned pets and to match the family’s lifestyle with the dog or cat’s needs. This process may require a vet check, a phone interview or a home interview – Kreacher Konnections wants potential families to be prepared for their new member and to ensure a good fit both for the humans and the animals. The process typically takes about a week depending on the schedules of volunteers and adopters. All adopters will be required to sign a contract at the time of adoption pledging to care for the pet’s physical and emotional well-being. All aspects of the contract will be fully discussed with adopters before signing. Kreacher Konnections does our best to evaluate all animals prior to adoption but we do not pretend to know how an animal will react to every situation and with every individual. We expect responsible adopters to use patience and caution while getting to know their new family member. A training class is an excellent way for an adopter to bond with their new pet and ensure a good relationship.

I've been rescuing dogs for almost two decades, from high kill pounds, abusive homes and sometimes just findi

We house stray dogs/cats, accept owner surrenders and have dogs/cats available for adoptions. If you are missing a dog/cat, we urge you to come and search through our stray ward. We keep animals on a 7 day stray hold before they are evaluated, spayed/neutered and offered for adoption to the public. All animals receive vaccination booster shots, are dewormed and receive a flea treatment intake.
