We are a 501c3 non-profit organization established in June of 2019. Our founder Kailani Miranda has dedicated her life to helping bully breed dogs. Koa Bully Rescue and Sanctuary care for our dogs out of founder's dog sanctuary and foster homes. Our organization relies solely on our volunteers and is funded through the generous donations of our supporters. We do not receive government funding.
1. View our available dogs. 2. Fill out our Adoption Application and email it to adoptions@koabullies.com. If you have a specific dog you are interested in please put their name in the subject line of the email additionally if you have questions feel free to attach them to the email. 3. Someone will contact you after reviewing your application. We are unable to schedule a meet and greet without an application on file. All meet and greets are by appointment only. We do not have any walk in hours, many of our dogs live in foster homes and we need time to coordinate. 4. If we have a dog that is a good match we will schedule a meet and greet. We would like you and your family to meet the dog first , from there we can proceed with meeting other dogs and or pets if everyone in the family is a good match for our dog. 5. After the meet and greet we will schedule a home check. We have long distance options available for persons out of state. If the home check goes well we will complete the adoption.
