I was always that girl. You know… the one playing in the dirt, trying to catch some animal and make him the perfect home! My mom used to call me Elmyra after the Tiny Toons character. No! I didn’t squish them all to death like she did (ok… maybe just a little bit). Currently, I have 4 incredibly spoiled, raw fed, constantly smothered in smooches, furbabies: Stinky, Mini Friends, Nugget, and Koda (yes, I know I shouldn’t be in charge of naming anyone). If you can believe it, I’ve never officially adopted a cat or sought one out as a companion!
To be considered for adoption, you must: Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide medical treatment and proper care of the cat for the rest of its life (20+ years). Kittens do best with a buddy! Preference is given to adopters who apply for a pair of kittens or have another young cat at home. Surrender the cat back to Kitten Nuggets should you find yourself in a position unable to provide the love and care they need. Be 21 years of age or older. If you are approved, you will be contacted to set up a meet and greet so that you can get to know the babies and their personalities. Applicants must live within the United States and out-of-state applicants must be willing to travel to Florida to pick up your baby! Safe transport can be arranged out of state. Transport options will be discussed with approved applicants. Adoption fees are generally $125 per cat and every cat will receive the following care prior to adoption: Spay/neuter surgery; Up-to-date vaccines; FeLV/FIV testing; Dewormed, flea preventative; Microchip. Any other necessary care (emergency care, wound care, treatment of infections/illnesses, etc.)
