The Kingman County Humane Society in Kingman, KS was established in 2000. It is operated entirely by volunteers dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for the animals under their care.
In order to adopt a pet from the Kingman County Humane Society, you MUST be 18 years of age or older and you must be able and willing to spend time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper carefor the pet. If you rent your home, we will need to verify with your landlord that you are allowed to have pets prior to approval of your application. If you have or had pets in the past, we will check with your veterinarian regarding compliance with all vaccination requirements. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please complete an adoption application. To place a temporary "hold" on a pet or to finalize an adoption, use the "Pay Now" button to pay by credit card or Paypal. If for any reason the adoption does not go as planned, you will contact the KCHS and relinquish the animal to be readopted by the KCHS. All adoption fees are final. No refunds will be given if the animal is returned. The adoption fee is to be considered a relinquish donation unless otherwise approved by an officer of KCHS. The Kingman County Human Society is not able to provide any post-adoption medical care. Please refer to your veterinarian for any medical advise you seek.
