KARE was founded by a veterinarian and her husband to provide life saving intervention for animals in need. We eagerly jump on every opportunity to save an animal. When we cruise past a stray without a collar, we stop the car and get out. We’re not “just keep on driving” people. We’re “run across the highway” people. We have built our life around animals. Our ranch, located just outside of San Antonio, has a treatment room with attached dog kennel, a cat room, horses, cattle, twin boys, and a grandmother. We have a good sized yard that affords plenty of room for everyone to run around. We are a 501c3 tax-exempt organization that relies on the support of fellow animal lovers to keep doing what we do.
