K9 Lifeline Rescue, Inc. (K9LLR) is a small group of caring individuals who volunteer their valuable time to work hard in finding forever homes for dogs, puppies or any animal that our hearts lead us to.
The first thing you need to do if you if you are interested in ADOPTING OR FOSTERING is to fill out our Adoption Application. Your application will be reviewed and your references called. We ALWAYS talk with your veterinarian if you have any current or previous pets- We MUST obtain record of Rabies vaccine AND up to date Heartworm testing + Heartworm Preventative. If this cannot be verified we CANNOT approve you for Adoption, you will be automatically Declined. After your application is reviewed & references check out good you will be called for a phone interview and/or a home visit if one of our volunteers lives close to you! We like to make sure you get a companion best suited to you and your lifestyle! (If you do not receive a phone call from us within 24 hours of submitting your application, please e-mail us at ApplicationK9LLR@aol.com to confirm we received it.) NOTE: Just because you submit an application does not mean you get a dog. It doesn’t guarantee you get the dog you want. We always choose the best matched home for The DOG. Your application can be denied for various reasons. If everything checks out, BY E-MAIL YOU WILL RECEIVE an ADOPTION APPROVAL NOTICE. Be sure to check your e-mail often. The Foster family of the dog you are interested in will contact you to answer any questions about the dog and set up a Meet & Greet Adoption Session. If she is the perfect dog for you, you are able to take her home the same day you meet! You will pay that dogs adoption fee at the time of adoption. NO PERSONAL CHECKS or CASH! We accept money orders and cashiers checks. For any puppies that are not spayed/neutered, a $35 deposit is required that will be refunded to you when proof that the dog is spayed/neutered is sent to us. It is REQUIRED that all dogs are spayed/neutered between 4 & 9 months of age.
