Just Doodles and Friends is a 501c3 & R.I. licensed, non profit, home foster based dog rescue that was formed to rescue & place discarded dogs in their forever home. Began in October, 2014. We are a Rhode Island licensed foster based non profit rescue. All our dogs are adopted with a contract. All family members and their pets meet our dogs to ensure a forever home. If it doesn't work out at the adopters home, the dog is RETURNED TO JUST DOODLES RESCUE, as per contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and up to date with age appropriate vaccines. We expect our dogs to be eating a healthy diet and maintain a proper weight. After adoptions we like to stay in touch and add you to our family. It has taken a village of folks to bring your dog to a safe forever home and all those along the way love to hear updates and see photos. We can only save dogs if folks like you volunteer to foster , so please email us ask about joining. We pay all expenses you add the love and food. (although we occasionally do help with food if needed). Most fosters last one to four weeks.
Please fill out the application completely to be considered for adoption of one of our dogs. Our dogs are fostered in homes in Rhode Island. We do require the entire family and pet(s) to be present for meet and greets prior to adoption. We do check references prior to contacting you. Please be sure to tell your vet that we will be calling when you file an application.
