HOPE is a non-profit all volunteer animal help group that became incorporated in January 1998. HOPE is a 501(3)(c) therefore all donations are tax deductible. HOPE was created as HOPE: Humanitarians of Pet Education. HOPE is focused on spaying and neutering but we have also evolved into a foster-based rescue. HOPE's mission is to: provide spaying/neutering assistance to eligible individuals; educate the public about pet overpopulation and possible solutions; network to find homes for orphans and strays; trap, neuter and release feral cats; provide financial assitance for emergency services as funds allow. HOPE operates solely on donations and fundraising events. All monies raised go to serve the needy animals of our surrounding communities. Since we are also a foster-based rescue we are bringing kitties to PetSmart in Waynesboro every Saturday year round from 12 pm to 5 pm. HOPE is not a shelter and cannot take in animals. Our volunteers work out of their homes as fosters.
