Humane Society of Midland County is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes for unwanted and abandoned animals. Our small staff and dedicated volunteers operate and manage the only animal shelter in Midland County. In 2011, HSoMC took over management from Midland County Animal Control and became a “no kill” shelter.

Adoption Process

You can also visit our cat condos located inside Soldan’s Pet Supplies in Midland to visit pets that are currently living in foster homes but available for adoption. Fill out an application that highlights your lifestyle (including family members and living situation), veterinary references and what you are looking for in a furry family member. After you have met your perfect match, it is time to make it official and bring your new pet home!
