HLHR was created and is maintained by a small group of hardworking individuals, dedicated to saving death row dogs from kill shelters, one life at a time. Our most active volunteers work a combined total of 400 hours a week, a conservative total. Volunteers receive no monetary compensation for their time and effort. This rescue exists solely on donations, much of which is generated by volunteers via social media and fundraising events. Remember, we cannot fulfill our mission without your help.
