Henrico Humane Society is an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization that rescues dogs and cats from across Central Virginia and places them in loving, forever homes.
Fill out an application either online or at the adoption stand. An adoption coordinator will review your application and get back to you. If you don't hear from someone within the timeline provided on the application confirmation page (typically 48 hours, but can be longer during periods of high volume), please contact us. Potential adopters are carefully screened to ensure we find the right forever home for the dogs and cats we rescue.
