Hedd Mutt Foundation, NFP is a Chicagoland 501(c)3 foster based rescue that was founded in 2016. We focus on neglected animals, while striving to educate the public about humane treatment of animals.
Fill out the adoption application. HMF will contact you to discuss your application then we will set either a home visit (if there is no other pets in home) or invite you to an adoption event to meet the dog. HMF will take the time to consider the needs of both the family and the dog. We want the best for the animal and the family - during this time we will process your application and verity your current pets vetting. We will set a home visit to properly introduce the resident dog to HMF dog - home check will take place during this time, this must be done for applicants prior to any final placements being made. If all this completed above the two week foster to adopt period will start - we provide everything during this time, after the two weeks is complete then the adoption can be finalized!
