Heartland Veterinary Hospital - New Beginnings Adoption Program - Elizabethtown Pet Shelter

Heartland Veterinary Hospital - New Beginnings Adoption Program

As a service to the animals of our community, the New Beginnings Adoption program is dedicated to placing pets in nurturing, loving, caring homes. Through an evaluation and application process, adoption coordinators match new owners with animals in need. Every pet that is placed in a new home has been evaluated, treated, and declared disease free. They are current on all vaccinations, have began heart worm and flea prevention, are microchipped, and have been spayed or neutered. There is a non-refundable, one time adoption fee of $75.00 which is used exclusively to offset the care and treatment of the animals in the program. This program is completely self-sufficient, relying totally on adoption fees, donations, and fund raising to operate.
