Located in Buena Park, CA, Healing the Strays is a small, independent cat rescue. After 13 years of trapping and rescue work, I established my own non-profit organization. Our primary objective is TNR (trap, neuter, release) within the colonies we care for. We care for and feed over 200 colony or “shy” kitties every day. We take in kittens and give them the medical care they need. We never leave mother cats behind to continue to have litters. All of the shy kitties we oversee and care for have all been TNR’d ending their cycle to breed more. Every one of our adoptables has been spayed/neutered, combo tested, de-wormed, flea treated and has their initial vaccines.
