In 2006, a fast-food worker, while handing out bags of food through the drive-up window, watched as feral cats and kittens alike gathered nearby to stare hungrily at these aromatic goodies. Soon thereafter Guardian Angels Animal Rescue was formed as a cat rescue and incorporated in the state of California. As a 501(c)3 organization, Guardian Angels Animal Rescue remains active today. Guardian Angels is a foster-based organization dedicated to placing cats and kittens into forever homes through local mobile adoptions. Space permitting, Guardian Angels works with individuals, other rescues, and local shelters to accept cats/kittens for adoption programs. The Guardian Angels organization is 100% volunteer, thus it is fund raising active and tax deductible donations are accepted. Veterinary costs for pre-adoption protocols and special needs medical issues are paid for entirely by efforts from fund raising and tax deductible donations.
Please note that adopting your forever companion will take 45 minutes to one hour for paperwork, interview, and general discussion. Some of the paperwork to be included is a pre-adoption form that assists Guardian Angels and you in choosing the best match for you and your family. We will discuss the lifelong welfare and expectations/needs for your new feline. It is important the cat/kitten feels safe and happy and you deserve a pet you will love as a member of your family.
