Greyt Expectations Greyhound Rescue(tm) Inc.

Greyt Expectations Greyhound Rescue(tm), Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), ALL VOLUNTEER greyhound adoption organization, specializing in personal adoption services that are rendered in a friendly, relaxed, and informative atmosphere. We do our best to create an inviting, people-friendly environment to educate people about greyhounds before, during, and after adoption. We are committed to making successful matches of personality and lifestyle between hounds and homes. If possible, we work with adopters' personal preferences for color and age. We personally answer phone calls and make every effort to answer all inquiries within a day or two. We do our best to keep adopters from wondering about their status and usually turn around applications within a week. We bring adopters into the process so they aren't intimidated or left waiting. GEGR does not have an kennel. All of our available dogs are kept in foster care until they are adopted. GEGR originally planned to adopt out about 12 dogs a year, but we've grown so much that we've been able to place an average of 100 dogs annually. We have met so many wonderful people along the way - as well as some very memorable and loving Greyhounds. We LOVE what we do and it shows!
