Greyhound Friends Of Nc - Oak Ridge Pet Shelter

Greyhound Friends Of Nc

Adopting a greyhound is a serious commitment, and we regard each adoption as an adoption for the lifetime of that dog. For this reason, we encourage people to think seriously before they make such a commitment. However, we also recognize that sometimes circumstances such as serious illness or death in the family will render people unable to honor their commitment to their adopted greyhound. Under such circumstances, and in order to provide the best care for our greyhounds, our adoption contract requires that the dog be returned to Greyhound Friends of North Carolina so that we can find a new home for it and educate its new owners about the care it requires. Thank you for your interest in adopting a greyhound. We hope this information will encourage you to visit our kennel.
