Grand Valley Pit Crew is located in beautiful Grand Junction, CO and we are a private pit bull education and rehabilitation organization working to help shelter dogs that need training and socialization in order to be adoptable family pets. We are not a 501c3 non-profit because we don't want to be. We don't want to lose the direction and goals of what we do. We make no profit of any kind from the dogs. Adoption fees go right back into vet bills and supplies for the dogs. Most of the costs of what we do comes from our own pockets. We also provide resources and education for pet owners and we can assist with dogs that are having behavior problems in order to try to keep them in their home. Please consider solving your dog's behavior problem before relinquishing it to a shelter or rehoming to another family. The odds that your dog would leave the shelter alive are very low. If you rehome the dog, you rehome the behavior problem too. We absolutely promote responsible pet ownership. Please understand that we are very small and can only keep a limited number of dogs. It is rare that we have an open space to take in a dog.
