Good Dog Rescue is a group of all breed dog rescuers in eastern and south central Nebraska dedicated to giving those pets in need a second chance at the life they deserve. Our dogs come from shelters and if we have room we will accept owner surrenders. Though our primary breed are Doberman we will try to help those we can. Good Dog Rescue is not a facility and appointments must be made to meet our rescues in the foster home after you have gone through the application process. All of our rescues are completely vetted and we work with house training, kennel training and obedience issues. We are always in need of loving foster homes, please call us or submit your info on our Contact Us page to find out how you can volunteer!!!
Adopting a rescue dog is a rewarding experience. We have a number of dogs from which to choose. We require an adoption application, home visit and an adoption agreement for all dog adoptions. A fenced yard attached to your house is strongly recommended, and your personal pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. No rescued dog will be kept outdoor or anywhere other than in the home. We ask for a donation to accompany all adoptions. The requested donation varies with the age and health of the dog, and it is not for payment of the adopted dog, but rather to help us defray some of our expenses so we can continue rescuing good dogs.
