Gentle Ben’s Giant Breed Rescue is a non-profit, 501 C(3) large breed dog rescue whose primary concern is to give abandoned dogs who end up in shelters or are needing to be re-homed by a family due to divorce, loss of job, illness, etc. a chance to find a new loving family. We are here to assist.
1. Completion of our Adoption Application. 2. Approval Process. Once an adoption application has been reviewed and approved, you will be contacted to let you know. We will then either set up a home visit or will request photos of your home/yard/fencing (if applicable). Once that has been approved, we will set up a time for you to meet the dog you have applied for. If all goes well, you will be permitted to adopt at that time. Please note: Adoption fees vary depending on the age of the dog and the medical care the dog requires. When a dog is adopted from Gentle Ben’s, they are fully vetted, vaccinated, heartworm/Lyme’s tested, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Plus, if they require any type of specialized medical care such as entropian surgery, etc., that is all taken care of prior to adoption.
