Garfield's Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose vision is to "Eliminate suffering of community/homeless cats on the Northern Neck of Virginia" which include Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond Counties. Our story begins with the realization of lack of funding and capacity to foster the large numbers of adoptable community/homeless cats on the Northern Neck. A small all-volunteer group sprang into action, creating a vision, and identifying actions to reach our vision. We do not receive local or state funding and rely completely on the generosity of our donors, community and volunteers.
