Provide for the care of our rescue animals.
If you are interested in adopting an animal from G.R.A.C.E. Animal Foundation, you may download the application or come by Paws N Claws Bed & Biscuit and complete the application on site. Our staff and volunteers will work to find the best match between our animals and you and your family. The loving dog or cat you choose will have received an average of $200 worth of veterinary care. The adoption fee which averages $85-150 includes a minimum of all vaccines, a spay or neuter surgery, physical exam, fecal exam and general dewormer, flea treatment as needed, earmite treatment as needed, blood test for heartworm disease and heartworm preventative. We are also available to answer questions, offer a discounted training class, a coupon book and provide you with names and numbers of Veterinarians. You will always be welcome and encouraged to call back at anytime should more questions come up. We like to give you and your new family member a couple of weeks to see if your new addition is getting acclimated to your home and family. We recommend that you begin your trial visit on a weekend when you will have time to help your new pet get familiar with your home and family. Within the first two weeks after you have adopted from us, you can return him or her and we will return your adoption fee. If we both agree that the adoption will be good for you and the dog/cat, we are ready to move forward with the contract. Again our adoption fee ranges from $85-150. Because we are an all volunteer, non-profit organization, 100% of all donations go directly towards the care and welfare of the animals. Checks should be made payable to The G.R.A.C.E. Animal Foundation. If the adoption does not work out for any reason over the long term, please contact us immediately. The contract you sign states that the animal must be returned to us. You may not surrender or try to re-home the animal yourself.

ASPCI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1995. Before 2015, when we were managing the St. Clair County animal shelter, we were known as the Animal Shelter of Pell City, Inc. Since 2015, as our organization evolved into our current programs and we no longer manage a facility, we use ASPCI to help our audience differentiate us from the government-managed animal c
