Furry Tales Animal Rescue, established in January 2020, is a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Blue Bell located in Montgomery County, PA. Our goal is to save the lives of homeless animals by pulling them out of unwanted homes, shelters or unhealthy situations and fostering them until they are able to find a good permanent home. All of our animals are cared for by fosters who volunteer and donate their time and resources to giving these animals the best chance for a successful life. We believe in transparency and therefore give all of our members and adopters full disclosure regarding the rescue and the animal(s) they are adopting.
Step 1: Submit an Application. Fill out the adoption application completely and entirely. Be sure to include active phone numbers for yourself and your references. Step 2: Phone Interview. If your home appears to be a good fit we will contact you for a brief phone interview. We do our best to contact every applicant. Step 3: Reference Check. The references you have listed on your application, both personal and veterinary, will be contacted. Step 4: Home Check. We will perform a home check (virtual or in-person). A virtual home check would include photos of your home and property. Step 5: Meet & Adopt. A meet and greet will be scheduled and if all goes well you will soon take home your new furry friend!
