Our mission is to save as many shelter pets as possible, to rescue, rehabilitate, medically care for and rehome abused or neglected animals. We have experience in the shelter environment and realize pets are abandoned or not cared for properly. We are dedicated in finding these loving animals forever homes and families. We want to match families and individuals with their perfect canine or feline companion based on the individual pets needs .
Furry Friends of the Foothills Pet Rescue puts much more than just money into our pets. They are treated as a member of their foster family. We want to ensure that the pet you want to adopt is the right fit for your family as well. We use the applications, vet reference check and in-home interview to ensure this.

The Shelter was first opened in 2005. Our facility includes 21 dog kennels, 3 outside dog kennels, 21 cat kennels, an Isolation/Quarantine Room that can house up to 20 additional cats or 6 additional dogs, and an adoptable cat room called the "Catty Shack", which can house 12 cats.
