Halloween 2010 a box of 7 pups was found in the doorway of a store. The workers called Manda & she called Jane. "What do we do?" Jane replied with..."Bring them home!" What we thought were pups just a couple weeks old turned out to be 7 weeks old. They were so malnourished we almost lost one that first night. The smallest one was only a POUND! We nursed them back to health & found "pawsome" homes for them all. We began getting requests for help. Manda & Jane realized after years of fostering it was time to jump in with both feet & start their own rescue. Thus Furgotten Friends Dog Rescue was born. Our rescue focuses on rehabilitating and rehoming as many dogs as we can. We have dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds looking for their furever homes!
1. Fall in love. 2. Call 775-848-9478 to arrange a meet 'n' greet between your new love and your family, including your current dogs. 3. Show landlord approval (if necessary) that you are allowed to have a dog/another dog and that there are no breed, age, or size restrictions. 4. Fill out a contract and pay deposit and/or adoption fee (Our adoption fees vary for each dog, please contact us for fees on individual dogs). 5. Complete a home check. 6. Have a lifetime of happiness with your new best friend!
