Our mission is to find forever homes or rescue for dogs and cats and to save as many lives as possible. We are not a rescue or a public shelter. We are a small group looking to make a difference in the life of one animal at a time, by networking to place that animal in his/her forever home or a reputable rescue. We pay for this by having yard sales, ebay, and various other fundraising efforts. And, we do take a large part out of our own pockets. Some of the pets you will see are shelter pets.

Crazy's Claws N' Paws is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, volunteer, foster, and donation based animal shelter founded in June 2013. We are temporarily located in foster homes and are only available by appointment. We serve Wayne, Johnston, Lenoir, and Wilson counties in North Carolina. We recently expanded to Sarasota, Florida and surrounding areas.
