We began when a small group of caring people recognized a growing need in the Gorge for a rescue group that would save not only stray animals and abandoned animals, but pets that are unable to stay where they are; and of course because of our great love for all animals. FFRi is a 501c3 (registered nonprofit) that relies solely on our volunteers and the generous support of our FFRi Friends! Without our foster homes and our Koop & Kamp volunteers, we would have to turn away animals. Helping animals is what we do! At this time we are not able to trap or intake feral cats. We don’t offer a spay/neuter service (however we hope to soon). We will happily refer you to other organizations. If we can’t help you, we know someone who can.
