We are a foster based rescue located in Scranton, PA. We provide vetting (including vaccines, spaying/neutering, and any other necessary medical care), food, toys, shelter and love. For those approved to foster, we provide ALL supplies needed. We rely solely on donations and support from the community. Friends with Paws Pet Rescue began in January 2016 and has continued to grow with the support of the community. We became a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in August 2016. We have helped find homes for over 150 pets and will continue to do so with your help and support!
All prospective fosters and adopters must submit an application. We have an extensive application process which includes personal and vet reference checks, home checks and contract. We require an approved application before a meet and greet is scheduled. Our adoption fees vary based upon each individual pet and their needs. Our adoption fees help cover the cost we endure while caring for the animals.
