Friends of the Bristol CT Animal Shelter Inc is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We were founded to help the Animal Control Officers of Bristol CT keep the City of Bristol pound dogs socialized and to improve the rate of adoptions from the City of Bristol pound. It is our goal to match dogs with applicants that will best provide a permanent home for the dog. We are also committed to educating new owners on the process of introducing a new dog into their home. We do our best to see that new owners have their dog neutered / spayed to reduce the risk of further over-populating the already over-crowded animal pet world.
