Friends of the Animals Foundation is a small all-volunteer organization devoted to cat rescue, foster care, and adoption. We humanely trap feral cats, spay or neuter (S/N) them, and then return them to where they were trapped; or foster, socialize, and put them up for adoption. This is a process called trap-neuter-return (TNR) and is considered one of the most humane methods of managing feral cats. Since FAF began in 1997, we have placed over 6,000 cats and kittens into safe and loving homes.
Adoption fees defray the cost of spaying or neutering, testing for FIV/FeLv, first vaccine(s), flea treatment, worming (kittens), collar, ID tag, and Microchip, certificate for first vet exam - average cost: $200+ per cat. Adoption fees (cash or check only): $125 for one kitten or $185 for two kittens (under 1 year), $50 cat (1 year or older), Seniors (50+) can adopt one of our seniors (5+) for only $25. Adopter must sign an Adoption Contract & Agreement.
