Friends of Noah-WI is a volunteer-based animal rescue organization that was founded by Lois and Mert Corwin after they moved to the area in 2009. Since its inception, Friends of Noah has grown to over one hundred volunteers who work tirelessly to fulfill its missions. As the largest pet rescue organization in Rock County, Friends of Noah is committed to providing new opportunities for stray and abandoned animals through placement into permanent homes, educating the public, and offering assistance to pet owners struggling to provide for their pets.
Application Review: Your application will be reviewed. We try our best to respond to all applicants; however, due to the sheer volume of applications received it is not always possible. If your application is denied, we may not specify why an application is denied/which criteria was not met. Home Based Meet & Greet: After the application has been approved, a Home Based Meet & Greet may be completed by a Friends of Noah representative. This is to provide the opportunity for the animal and the adopter to interact in a home-based environment and make sure it’s a good fit for both the animal and the new family. Contract and Paperwork: If the meet and greet goes well and is deemed a good fit, we will move forward with the adoption contract. You will be given a copy of the adoption contract, as well as all appropriate veterinary records. Adoption Donation/Fee: Friends of Noah incurs significant expenses to rescue each animal in our care. When you adopt a pet from Friends of Noah, your donation/fee not only goes toward the care of your adoptive animal, but helps to make it possible for us to further our mission in rescuing other animals and placing them into forever homes. Adoption donations/fees can be made with cash or check only.
