Fortunate Ferals is a dedicated group of volunteers whose main goal is to provide TNR assistance, education, information and guidance to responsible caretakers of feral/free roaming cat colonies and to local communities. Because our main focus is on all aspects of TNR and we have limited space and volunteers, we are NOT an Animal Rescue and cannot foster friendly, abandoned or stray animals. We do assist caretakers with finding forever homes for potentially adoptable animals and also with ongoing care and support for existing colonies. Fortunate Ferals was formed to help fulfill a need in the community and we stay in existence because the community recognizes that need. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and can only survive on the generosity of public donations.
