Feral Cat Program Of Georgia - Alpharetta Pet Shelter

Feral Cat Program Of Georgia

Our mission is simple. We save cats. Founded in 2004, Feral Cat Program of Georgia (FCPGA) is a grass-roots program run primarily by volunteers. It began as an initiative of the Humane Society of Forsyth County when a huge feral and stray cat population began outgrowing the county resources available. As the need became larger, FCPGA evolved into a stand alone rescue organization. In the beginning, the group consisted of a few dedicated volunteers conducting TNR missions throughout the county. When adoptable kittens were found in feral colonies, foster homes were added to care for and socialize the kittens. This network of foster homes is still in place today and is the backbone of our rescue group. In addition to our TNR efforts, we also help local animal control offices place under socialized and adoptable cats and kittens. FCPGA is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. 5. Take your cat home and enjoy your new friend.
