FURR rescues homeless, injured and/or feral cats and kittens and prepares them for forever homes! Founder & President, Terry Schultz, traps, tames and adopts out cats and kittens to carefully screened, loving homes after full vetting (spay/neuter, blood tested for feline aids/leukemia and heart worm disease). FURR’s nonprofit is in good standing in North Carolina.
1. Find a new friend. The catfurr.org home page lists all cats available for adoption. 2. Meet your new friend. Contact Terry Schultz at Adoptafurrcat@gmail.com for an appointment. 3. Complete an adoption application. This is required of all prospective adopters. 4. Terry visits the home of every prospective adopter to ensure a good fit for everyone. 5. Sign the adoption contract when everyone agrees that you and the kitty are a good match. 6. Pay the small adoption fee. This is necessary for each kitty to pay for each kitty’s veterinary care and everything we do for the welfare of each kitty. This fees also enables us to rescue the next kitty desperately in need. 7. Terry will deliver your new kitty to your home. 8. Your kitty is the next Adoption Success Story!
