F.a.c.t. (feline Advocates Coming Together)

F.A.C.T. was formed in 2010. We are a small group of volunteers who have a passion for helping homeless cats. We rely solely on donations and grants to do this life-saving work. 100% of donations/grants go to help cats in need and are used to give once-homeless cats the best chance possible at a long, happy, healthy life. F.A.C.T. puts most of our focus on cats who need the most help, such as cats who are sick, injured, or scared. Over the last 11 years, we have found homes for over 2,000 cats! In mid-2017, we started a spay/neuter program to help underserved areas in our community, primarily Washington County. Since then, we have spayed/neutered over 1,000 cats with this program! Fosters and volunteers are a big reason we have been able to do so much for the cats in our community. If you would like to help us with our efforts in any way, contact us! Our ultimate goals are to create resources so that cats will no longer have unwanted litters or be abandoned, and will receive care and compassion from the community.

Adoption Process

Application - The first step in our adoption process is filling out the application. If we feel that your home will be a good match for one of our adoptable cats, we will contact you within 24 hours. Interview - The purpose of conducting a brief phone interview is to discuss your home atmosphere in more detail. This will give us a better idea of which foster cat would do best in your home! Home Visit - During the home visit, we will bring the cat with us so they can explore their potential new home. This allows us to see how they do with other pets, and how they do in the home overall. Adoption Fee - Once approved for adoption, you would simply pay the adoption fee and take your new furry family member home! Our adoption fee is $80.
