Everything Grey is a haven for retired racing greyhounds. We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating in Southeast Texas & Southwest Louisiana. Our purpose is to help transition these retired racers into loving family pets and help them find forever homes It is important to mention that we are strictly a foster based organization. Everyone involved in this organization feels that this is truly the best way to help us evaluate and prepare these hounds for retired-pet life.
1. All potential adopters are asked to complete a written application, which gives us background information about the individual or family. 2. The application is followed up by a telephone or in-person interview. 3. The next step is an in-home visit. We use this visit to gather information about what the family is looking for in a dog, what a family’s schedule is, its preferences, the safety of the home environment, as well as getting to know any other pets the family may have. 4. Once an adopter has been approved, we will introduce the potential adopter to those greyhounds we feel are a good fit for their home. Our non-refundable adoption donation of $300.00 helps us cover the expense of Spay/Neuter as well as other necessary vetting prior to placement in your home.
