We are a small rescue that works exclusively with bull breeds. We are incorporated as a non-profit and we have our 501(c)3 Federal tax exemption! This means your donations are tax exempt. We are a foster home-based rescue, so the dogs live in a temporary home while awaiting their forever home. The dogs are socialized with a variety of people and other animals while in our care. We work to educate the public about the bull breeds, provide information about low cost spay/neuter programs, and strive to help dogs find loving homes with responsible owners. We are licensed in the state of Illinois as an Animal Shelter with licensed foster homes. We adopt out our dogs as INDOOR dogs. The dogs must be considered a part of the family as it is detrimental to their mental health to live isolated from their humans. We will not adopt to anyone planning to keep the dog outdoors in a kennel or on a chain.
All potential adopters must provide personal references, a vet reference, and be open to a home visit.
